The Samsung Captivate™ is the final edition of Samsung Galaxy S and it is also called Samsung i897. As we all know, the Samsung Galaxy S is a classic handset from Samsung and the AT&T has unveiled the Samsung Captivate for some months. The reason we refer this model again is because this handset finally is updated to the advanced Android 2.2 OS.
In my opinion, as the Android OS develops rapidly, many mobile phones that run this operating system would like purchase this fashion, and once the Android has been updated to a new edition, many Android mobile phone manufactures become busy. There is no ground for blame, after all the Android is the one of the most popular OS and no manufacture wants to leave behind (iPhone and Nokia are exceptions). Even a smarthone runs the Android OS, it must have some superior points if it wants to be competitive. Then let’s see what the features of Samsung Captivate are.
It has large Super AMOLED display. As a smartphone, it is very important to have an advanced processor because it will be responsible for web browser, downloads and uploads and many cool apps. We know the Android supports many apps and this Samsung Captivate adopts 1 GHz processor, which makes these apps run faster and more fluent.
We often hear the complaint that text messages on a mobile phone is too slow. It is not a problem now and the Swype technology will make it easier and faster to input messages on any screen. You will enjoy the high speed of inputting messages on a cell phone.
To sum up, this final Galaxy S smartphone won’t make you disappointed!
